This book despite having some lovely recipes is littered with errors. I find it amazing that the lime and coconut cake recipe appeared in the sunday times correctly. Yet when I bought the kindle version of the book 2 months later and followed the recipe in the book there is a huge error which makes the cake impossible to make without a correction. Why has an errata not been published? Purchasers should be refunded.
My daughter was excited to get it for Christmas. It was on her list. She follows her on You Tube. We read the ingredients last night and how difficult it would be to make and tried to decide what to make first. I was surprised she wanted a cookbook. We haven't made anything yet. The ingredients and measurements are for overseas or milligrams. But we will figure it out.
The book arrived as expected.

This book is beautiful but the first two recipes I've tried were fails. The banana bread calls for 1 teaspoon of salt, which was clearly too much. All I could taste in the final product was salt. Both the banana bread and lemon drizzle edges almost burnt while the center was still raw. Im not sure if this is a conversion issue, but these recipes don't make sense.
